SECTION 02 · THE PROBLEM
THE PROBLEMS CAVENDER WAS DEALING WITH
No.01
Shared leads, shared customers.
Their old trade tool sent the same customer to several dealers at once. By the time Cavender called, that customer was already being hounded by six or seven other stores.
6–7DEALERS CALLING THE SAME CUSTOMER
No.02
Customers stopped answering.
At the Chevrolet store, only 40% of leads from the old tool engaged.
40%ENGAGEMENT ON OLD-TOOL LEADS
No.03
Sales teams didn't trust trade leads.
When the new leads first came in, some sales staff were overwhelmed and assumed they were the same kind of trade lead they'd seen before. Managers had to reset how their teams worked them.
No.04
Zero sold from the old tool.
In the same month the Chevrolet store sold six cars from MOTO leads, it sold none from its old trade-tool leads.

SECTION 03 · THE PRODUCT
HOW MOTO WORKS
AT CAVENDER
01
Leads nobody else gets
Every lead comes from a customer on Cavender's own website and goes straight into Cavender's CRM. MOTO doesn't sell or share it.
1DEALER PER LEAD — THEIRS
02
Built for the phone
A slide-out on the vehicle pages gives a trade value range in a few taps, then lets the customer request a firm offer — without leaving Cavender's website.

03
No online lowball
Customers see a range, not a take-it-or-leave-it number. Cavender's managers make the final call, so the conversation starts instead of ending.

04
A path into the service lane
Cavender's team met with MOTO in January 2026 to give feedback on MOTO's service-drive product while it was being built.

WHAT CAVENDER SAYS ABOUT
70% ENGAGED VS 40%
"Our engagement percentage with MOTO(acquire) is at 70%… [on our old trade-tool] leads, our engagement was at 40%. We didn't sell a single [one of those] last month, and we sold six with MOTO(acquire)."
JOHN GUERRERO · CAVENDER CHEVROLET
LEADS WITH WEIGHT
"When you look at all these leads that we get, guys, these have a little more weight to them… they are weighted pretty heavy, just as well as somebody walks in with a cashier's check."
ALI SMITH · CAVENDER AUTO GROUP
"It's some of the better lead sources that I've worked with… There's a lot of engagement, so the opportunities are definitely there. So I love it."
