Moto Acquire LLC (“MotoAcquire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to:

• Dealer-branded tools powered by MotoAcquire (for example, trade-in valuation, vehicle value tracking, and service-lane messaging tools offered under your dealership’s brand)

1. Who We Are

MotoAcquire is a U.S.-based automotive software company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. We build tools that help car dealerships acquire, value, and communicate about vehicles.

An important note about dealer-branded tools: when you use a tool that carries your dealership’s brand, we collect and process your information on behalf of that dealership. The dealership decides how to use your information once it receives it, and its own privacy practices apply alongside this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide.

Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code; vehicle details you submit for a valuation or trade-in inquiry (such as year, make, model, trim, mileage, condition, and identifiers like a VIN or license plate where you provide them); messages you send us or your dealership; and application details if you apply for a job with us.

Information from your dealership.

If your dealership uses MotoAcquire products, it may share information with us so we can provide the Services on its behalf, such as your contact details and records of your vehicle or service visits. This may include information about you even if you have not used a MotoAcquire tool yourself, where your dealership engages us to help it communicate with its customers (for example, sending service updates or vehicle value information on the dealership’s behalf).

Dealership personnel.

If you work at a dealership that uses MotoAcquire, we process your business contact information and account activity in order to provide the services, under our agreement with your dealership.

Information from our data partners.

When you request a valuation, we obtain vehicle value data from vehicle valuation and market data providers.

Information collected automatically.

When you visit our websites, we collect device and browser information, pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information from cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

What we do not collect.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, dates of birth, or biometric information, and we do not store credit or debit card numbers.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide vehicle valuations, offers, and ongoing value updates you request

• Deliver your inquiry to the dealership you chose to engage with

• Send messages related to your inquiry or service visit, by email or text message, where you have opted in

• Respond to your questions and provide support

• Operate, improve, and secure the Services

• Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. Where online advertising tools involve “sharing” as defined by some state privacy laws, you can opt out as described in our Cookie Policy. Otherwise, we share personal information only in the situations described below.

With your dealership.

Information you submit through a dealer-branded tool is shared with that dealership, including its customer relationship management (CRM) and lead management systems, so it can respond to your inquiry. The dealership’s own privacy policy governs its use of your information.

With service providers.

We use vendors that host our infrastructure, deliver email and text messages, process payments (Stripe), and supply vehicle valuation data. They may access personal information only to perform services for us.

For analytics and advertising.

Our websites use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.

For legal reasons.

We may disclose information to comply with law or legal process, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of MotoAcquire, our customers, or others.

In a business transfer.

If MotoAcquire is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction and will continue to be protected as described in this policy.

5. Text Messaging

Some Services send text messages, for example updates about your trade-in inquiry or messages sent on behalf of your dealership about your service visit. We send texts only where you have opted in or as otherwise permitted by law. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate our websites, understand how they are used, and measure advertising. For the full list of technologies we use and the choices available to you, see our Cookie Policy.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, as instructed by the dealership on whose behalf we process it, or as required to meet our legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

• Email: use the unsubscribe link included in any marketing email.

• Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out.

• Cookies: manage your preferences as described in our Cookie Policy.

• Access, correction, and deletion: email privacy@motoacquire.com to request a copy of your information, correct it, or ask us to delete it.

If you submitted information through a dealer-branded tool, we may forward your request to the dealership or coordinate with it, since we process that information on its behalf.

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@motoacquire.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Biometric Information

We do not collect, capture, or store biometric identifiers or biometric information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
