KNOW YOUR BUYING POWER VS PAYMENTSIQ FOR DEALERS COMPARING PAYMENT TOOLS

Both tools let a shopper work out what they can afford on your website and turn that into a lead. The differences are in whose name is on it, what the lead carries, and whether you pay for it separately. Know Your Buying Power comes with every MOTO(acquire) product; paymentsIQ is a Protomiq product sold on its own.

ABOUT PAYMENTSIQ

WHAT PAYMENTSIQ IS

PROTOMIQ PAYMENTSIQ (FORMERLY TRADEPENDING WHAT'S MY BUYING POWER) · PROTOMIQ

paymentsIQ is Protomiq's payment calculator for dealer websites, the successor to the TradePending tool many dealer sites still label "What's My Buying Power". Shoppers estimate a monthly payment, evaluate affordability and browse inventory that fits their budget on any device, with no effect on their credit score, according to protomiq.com.

Its pitch to the store is lead intelligence: paymentsIQ captures desired payment and down payment, buying behavior and financial indicators, adds household income and spending insights, scores the lead hot, warm or cool, and delivers it to the CRM. It is one of six Protomiq products, priced on request.

ABOUT MOTO(acquire)

WHAT MOTO(acquire) IS

FOUR PRODUCTS · ONE PLATFORM · CHICAGO, IL

Know Your Buying Power is MOTO(acquire)'s payment tool, included with every MOTO product. From a banner or button on your site, the shopper types the monthly payment they are comfortable with, picks a credit range and sees an estimated payment and the price range they can realistically shop. If they valued their trade in MOTO(convert), it is factored in.

They leave a phone number to see or save the result, and the lead lands in your CRM under its own source so the desk starts with the full picture. You set the rates by credit tier, and payoff and loan-or-lease questions are optional. Every result is labeled as an estimate, not an offer of credit.

WHY DEALERS SWITCH

WHAT CHANGES WHEN YOU MOVE FROM PAYMENTSIQ

ONE

It is already included

If you run any MOTO product, Know Your Buying Power is on your site at no extra charge. There is nothing to add to the contract.
TWO

Fewer surprises at the desk

Shoppers see what their credit range and trade can actually support before they come in, so fewer people show up expecting a payment you cannot hit. Every result is labeled as an estimate, not an offer of credit.
THREE

The trade is part of the math

A value from MOTO(convert) flows straight into the payment estimate, so the shopper is working one number, not two tools.
SWITCHING

WHAT STAYS THE SAME

  • Your rates are yours. You set the rate for each credit tier, and you can switch payoff and loan-or-lease questions on or off.
  • Your CRM processes stay. Buying-power leads arrive under their own source name next to your trade leads.
  • Your website provider stays. It installs from a banner or button with the same snippet as MOTO(convert).
THREE STEPS

HOW A SWITCH WORKS

  1. Bring last month's trade-lead count to a 20-minute demo. We show you MOTO(convert) on your own site.
  2. Your web provider adds the snippet and we point your CRM at the six MOTO lead sources. Most stores are live within a day.
  3. Compare the month after with the month before: trade leads, appointments and cars bought from website trades.
